License Problems
The machine that runs the Direct Print service does not have a ForNAV license installed. The ForNAV license is connected to the Business Central environment, and therefore, the license information is transmitted with the print job.
When your printing service is connected to multiple Business Central tenants, you may see a trial message on some print jobs and not others. Again, that depends on the licensing status of each tenant.
Trial message
A trial message will appear on your printout if your Business Central does not have a valid ForNAV license.
Check the license
You can check the ForNAV license from Business Central. Go to the page ForNAV Direct Print and File Setup and choose the action Check ForNAV license. This will show you a message with the license status.
Windows event log
License information is written in the Windows event log. It helps if you have the information from the event log available if you need to contact our support.
Trial period
When the Direct Print service is installed, it will run in trial mode for 14 days. This means that no trial message will be written on the printout.
